Peachy Keen Stamps No 14 .. Daring Card Makers Favourite Things...Charisma Cards - Just Us Girls Blog Challenge!

Ok ok ok... I just got soooooooooooo excited when I saw these challenges...  I have used lots of things that I love and drool over!  (Does that make me sad lol!!)  Looks like so far.. I have added this to FOUR challenges... Maybe I need to be stopped ... even dreaming of crafting now.... Oh Dear!!

Anyway..

***Make a card
***Use the colors PINK AND BROWN as the main color scheme.
***Use a stamped image (preferably Peachy Keen Stamp - but not required)
***Incorporate a piece of ribbon
***Use some type of glitter (stickles are fine!)

Sadly I didn't have any of their images to use.. doh!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also the Delightful Daisies Challenge on Charisma Cardz... I blame them as I do love daisies... oops this will be my third entry with them this week!  (Bet that isn't allowed?!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is a chance to go mad with the papers, embellishments, tools and styles you really love to use.
I'd like you to use at least 5 of your own personal favourite things on your card this week - if you can make it 10 then you can claim our DCM Gold Star - virtual, of course lol.

Hope you like this... I have added rather a few photos as I am just realllllllllllllly pleased with how it has turned out!

Some of my favourite things I used on this card were...

1.  Embossing, as in dry ... just love changing the look of papers.

2. Water-colouring... I painted the images with water-colour.. love their effect.

3. Glitter... what girlie doesn't love glitter!  Used a lovely yellow one here for the centre of the daisies.

4.  Feather.. as I thought it added some soft texture to the card.

5.  Flowers... I made these for this card using lots of different papers that I have and in different sizes.. adorable!

6.  Ribbon... love this polka dot brown ribbon.. goes so well with the colours too!

7.  Handmade paper with flowers in... luxury and I  use very little as soooo nice!

8. Heart Gem Stones... in pink too.. woooah!

9.  Shimmer Paints... used these on top of the water-colour paints on the steps... to give it that lovely glimmer... fantastic!

10.  Glitter Pen... Oh how I love my glitter pen... want it on everything!  I used a clear glitter on the card and on the envelope a pink and silver one.

11.  Stamps...my faithful daisy stamp on the envelope... just love it!

Think I should stop now lol...

I also  have added this to Just Us Girls Challenge..some really lovely challenges out there.. I could just keep going and going... someone stop me!!

Well do you just love this as much as I do??????

Fab's Big Christmas Challenge - Round/Bauble... 41

Came across this funky little blog doing Christmas card challenges and thought I could join in with this one!  The subject was round... so I made these two round cards... they are double sided and do open up ... also have a liner and I made some nice card envelopes to put them in!...

Challenge Card - The Crafty Pad and Creative Card Crew!

The Creative Card Crew required - Scallops this week... so I included the below competition too!

I used this lovely image on a card the other week for a friend with cancer.. sadly she passed away and I never knew if she got the card or not.  Seeing as it is such a lovely image I decided to do another card with it so I can see the image in a more delightful note not sorrow.

After printing off two images, I water-coloured both and cut one out.  Used a little glitter there too... I think it is pretty and bright! I even put a strip of the paper down the envelope.. as I tend to think that we forget to decorate those and they are the first thing that we see!
